This post is to let friends know that my new novel is out and about. I began writing ALMOST HOME more than a decade ago — my attempt to bring to life a final horror of the Civil War and one of the darker and lesser known moments in American history. My Kent State book and Splash! intervened and trapped ALMOST HOME in non-competition clauses, so I began giving away the novel on my website, under the name Sultana. Now I’m out from under those restraints and thrilled to be legitimatizing a work that has been close to my heart from the first sentence.
In subsequent posts, I’ll flesh out this literary love affair. For now, suffice it to say that ALMOST HOME is available on Kindle and in hard- and soft-cover on Amazon or wherever you shop for reading. If you enjoy the story, please let Amazon, goodreads.com, and others know. Those algorithms are market-movers. And thanks!
